Job Description

As a senior electrical engineering leader, you will oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of medium voltage switchgear systems. Your role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

You will be responsible for managing multiple electrical projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Additionally, you will oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MRSS electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

Your safety expertise is crucial in ensuring all electrical systems and operations comply with safety standards and regulations. You will conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to guarantee a safe working environment.

Leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians, you will provide technical guidance and support. This includes coordinating with vendors and contractors for the procurement of electrical equipment and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Accurate and up-to-date documentation of all electrical systems, projects, and maintenance activities is essential. Therefore, you must maintain high-quality records.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing MRSS systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP), knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and experience with high-voltage systems.
