Telecom Order Management Specialist
We are seeking an experienced telecom order management specialist to design, develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and catalog items to meet telecom order management needs.
- Design and develop custom applications, workflows and business rules to automate telecom order management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for telecom order management.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to enable seamless handling of product orders, service requests and provisioning workflows.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, OSS/BSS platforms and legacy systems commonly used in telecom environments.
- Support UAT, defect fixing and performance tuning for telecom order management processes.
- Follow Agile delivery practices and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on development experience in ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Order Management for Telecom (OMT) module.
- Experience in ServiceNow CSM and/or ITSM is an advantage.
- Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations and Service Portal.
- Telecom domain knowledge particularly Order-to-Activation processes, Product Catalogs, Service Requests and Fulfillment.
- Ability to write technical documentation, design documents and deployment guides.
- Experience in working in Agile/DevOps environments.
