Insurance Compliance Officer Role
This is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
Solicit compliance with IRDAI regulations by overseeing activities of Corporate Agents, ensuring relevant persons have necessary training and skills.
Maintain accurate records of applications for removal or addition of Authorized Verifiers and specified persons.
Guarantee strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and Corporate Agency regulations.
Submit timely reports, disclosures, and other information to the relevant authorities as required.
Confirm annual compliance certification submission to the Authority, verifying adherence to all applicable provisions.
Supervise insurance solicitation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements from specified persons.
Act as single point of contact for inspections and other compliance-related matters with the relevant authority.
Verify compliance of specified persons, ensuring only authorized individuals conduct solicitation activities.
Address customer grievances within 14 days, resolving issues efficiently.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field or professional qualifications such as MBA, Actuaries, CII London, IIRM, ICAI, ICSI, CFA/CAIIB preferred.
50 hours of training plus passing the prescribed IRDAI exam (if not holding a professional qualification).
25 hours of training plus exam for recognized professionals.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance compliance framework.
Leadership and supervisory abilities.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Customer grievance handling and resolution.
Coordination with regulatory authorities.
