Chief Information Security Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our enterprise-wide security strategy, ensuring resilience, compliance, and trust across our global payments infrastructure.

This is a senior leadership role focused on Information Security, Risk Management, and Compliance. The CISO will be responsible for owning and driving the security program, ensuring that our systems, partners, and customers are protected from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and a strong understanding of the Payments, FinTech, and Web3 industries. They should have experience engaging with global regulators and familiarity with AML/KYC/KYT systems, transaction monitoring, and fraud analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own the enterprise-wide security program for a multi-jurisdiction payments infrastructure.
  2. Align policies and controls with global standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA, NIST, MAS, FCA, RBI).
  3. Define frameworks for customer data protection, fraud monitoring, and secure payment APIs.
  4. Drive audit readiness and manage relationships with regulators, banks, and compliance partners across regions.
  5. Ensure adherence to AML/KYC/KYT, PSD2, and local payment regulations in operating geographies.
  6. Lead global SOC functions—incident response, forensics, penetration testing, and threat intelligence.
  7. Ensure resilience across cloud, APIs, wallets, and banking connectors with 24/7 monitoring.
  8. Hire, mentor, and scale a world-class InfoSec, compliance, and fraud prevention team.
  9. Build a "security by design" culture across engineering, product, and operations.
  10. Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge tools for real-time transaction monitoring, AI-driven risk scoring, and fraud detection.
  11. Embed DevSecOps practices across global product engineering teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 8+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in senior leadership within FinTech, payments, or banking.
  • Proven expertise in cross-border payments, card networks, wallets, and banking integrations.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CCSP or equivalents strongly preferred.
  • Experience engaging with global regulators (FCA, MAS, RBI, EU, US FinCEN, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC/KYT systems, transaction monitoring, and fraud analytics.
  • Excellent executive communication—able to translate technical risks into board-level strategy.
