Job Description

We are seeking a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) expert to lead our clients' risk management initiatives. As a GRC Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing robust governance, risk management, and compliance systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of client initiatives focused on reducing technology risk, improving governance, and enhancing compliance to policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement IT security standards, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and improve client security posture.
  • Evaluate information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environments.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements and designing clients' information security posture, as well as Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements.
  • Contribute to the delivery of work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
  • Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exception assessments.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideal qualifications include CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
  • Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
