Job Title: Database Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled database technical lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, release, maintenance, and technical support of our database systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration and a deep understanding of database technologies, including Oracle RDBMS. They will be responsible for creating new and reviewing existing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support development efforts. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with SQL tuning and query optimization.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to ensure that database-related needs are met. This includes developing scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.

The database technical lead will also be responsible for identifying and resolving database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact. As the escalation point for complex database-related problems, they will work closely with other teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL
  • Hands-on experience with SQL tuning and query optimization
  • Coding skills to write complex SQL queries, views, and materialized views
  • Coding skills to create PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
  • Ability to work with a solution mindset approach
