Network Security Expert Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and in-depth knowledge of network security operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Firewall Management: Manage and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual appliances).
  • Troubleshooting: Perform L2-level troubleshooting of network and security incidents.
  • Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and resolve firewall-related issues including traffic flow, policy violations, and NAT.
  • Configuration and Updates: Configure and update firewall rules, security policies, objects, NAT rules, and address groups.
  • VPN Setup and Management: Set up and manage IPsec and SSL VPNs on Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Log Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze logs (Traffic, Threat, URL Filtering, System) using Palo Alto tools and Panorama.
  • Support and Optimization: Support change requests, configuration changes, and policy optimizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with L1 and L3 teams to ensure timely incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Audit and Compliance: Work with compliance and security teams for audits, rule reviews, and access control policies.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, change records, and SOPs.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Participate in planned maintenance windows, patching, and upgrade activities.
