Database Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team.

  • Requires 5+ years of experience in administration and maintenance of MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database engines.
  • Must have strong knowledge of DBA administrative tasks and database engine architecture.
  • Well-versed in implementing robust database security practices.
  • Experience in cloud-based database hosting, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with in-memory databases such as Redis and Memcached.
  • Expertise in implementing monitoring solutions for databases and configuring alerts for critical parameters.
  • Skilled in performance tuning, identifying bottlenecks, and providing optimization recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge in post-deployment configurations and best practices.
  • Experience with automated database installation using configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration to streamline DBA workflows.
  • Experience in writing PowerShell scripts for MSSQL administrative tasks.
  • Skilled in database migrations across heterogeneous database environments.
  • Basic Linux navigation skills for managing MySQL and Postgres deployments.
  • Knowledge and experience in disaster recovery planning and deployment.
  • Experience in configuring load balancing solutions such as replication.
  • Proficient in implementing database backup solutions and strategies.
  • Continuously explore and stay updated on new features in the latest DB versions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for inventory, installation procedures, and configuration records.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including night rotations as needed.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
