We're expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Secure IT Operations Specialist to ensure secure, reliable IT operations across systems, networks, and devices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, providing support for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity needs, and maintaining secure access to company systems.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with colleagues worldwide.
The Secure IT Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations for our fast-growing, globally distributed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote assistance for employees' technical issues.
- Systems Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Network & Security Management: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates.
- Process Improvement & Global Collaboration: Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and provide overlapping coverage with U.S. hours for cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Experience with Google Workspace / Office 365 administration.
- Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
