Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior FIX Technical Specialist to join our global FIX Connectivity team.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, excellent communication and team management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • External communication with clients/brokers and their technology vendors
  • Participation in strategic projects
  • Collaboration with Sales and Implementations teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in FIX protocol (ver. 4.2/4.4)
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C, or Python
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux-based O/S Applications
  • Knowledge of Databases and basic SQL queries- Oracle/SQL
  • Understanding of the FIX certification process
  • Experience working in an electronic trading environment in a FIX onboarding or FIX Support capacity
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts
  • Exposure to asset classes: Equities, Futures, Options, FX
  • Ability to train and mentor junior team members
