Job Title: Technical Lead/Principal Engineer

    We are seeking an accomplished Technical Lead/Principal Engineer to spearhead our core infrastructure technology team.

Our Infrastructure Team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining multiple functional areas, including Access & Identity Management, Linux Compute, Discovery, Networking, Observability, SDLC, and Storage, built on top of AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development of next-generation IT infrastructure using containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Provide expertise and consultation on architectural decisions for infrastructure projects and products.
  • Design, build, and maintain critical IT infrastructure, encompassing Linux, Windows, Git, DNS, Kerberos, Syslog, Apache, Perl, Python, E-mail, Ansible, and ELK.
  • Ensure data integrity by minimizing system failures and implementing controls to detect potential issues.
  • Work closely with tech teams to ensure infrastructure scalability based on usage patterns.
  • Guide engineers in developing new skills and competencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in system administration or software engineering.
  • Strong programming experience in Python, C, Go, or Haskell.
  • Familiarity with Unix systems, web technologies, and AWS.
  • Experience with tools and processes to manage, understand, and debug large, complex distributed systems.
  • Attention to detail and quality, along with the ability to work effectively in and across teams.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
