Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

A visionary cloud architect is sought to design and lead the development of robust, scalable, and secure data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The role involves working with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into comprehensive AWS data architecture.

This position requires expertise in designing end-to-end data architecture on AWS, covering ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption layers.

Data governance, security, access controls, and data quality frameworks must be implemented by the successful candidate. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required to work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists to address business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing scalable and secure data pipelines utilizing tools such as AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, AWS Lambda, Kinesis, and EMR.
  • Migrating legacy data platforms to AWS, including creating migration strategies and executing implementation plans.
  • Creating data models and designing data lakes/warehouses to support business intelligence (BI), machine learning (ML), and analytics use cases.
  • Providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices for data lifecycle management, data cataloging, and metadata management.

  • Expertise in modernizing legacy data platforms to AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, security, access controls, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
