Statutory Audit Role

Our organization is seeking a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in statutory audit to fulfill key responsibilities.

  • Developing comprehensive audit planning documentation that addresses scope, objectives, budgeted hours, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines
  • Successfully completing assigned audits by meeting all objectives, conducting client meetings as required, monitoring and controlling audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring they provide adequate support for conclusions while adhering to internal standards for documentation
  • Optimizing audit efficiency by continuously improving processes, managing resources effectively, and adhering to time and budget constraints
  • Closely examining findings and issues, documenting them, and performing closure procedures
  • Gathering and compiling information and data
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships across various levels of the organization
  • Providing recommendations for strengthening controls and implementing improvements
  • Demonstrating ability to navigate ambiguity, constant change, and independent work

A thorough understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act is essential for this position. We seek a candidate who can think critically, visualize scenarios, and make informed decisions based on analysis and logical reasoning.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of IGAAP and IND AS standards
  • Ability to apply these standards in practical settings

Along with a solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act, the candidate should be able to think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning.
