The role of an Internal Audit Senior Associate is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's internal audit functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit engagements from planning through to execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Liaising with engagement teams and end clients as part of planning, execution, and reporting phases of the audit;
  • Communicating risk findings, verbally and written, to clients in a pragmatic and helpful manner;
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients through client engagements and networking;
  • Working with a supportive group of senior team members within the Internal Audit practice to develop innovative, market-leading solutions and proposals; and
  • Couching more junior team members and reviewing their work.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification from a recognized professional body is mandatory;
  • Progressive experience at the Senior Associate level or at least 3-6 years working in internal (Operational, Financial, Strategic) audit preferably in one of the big 4 professional services firms is required;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment are essential;
  • Business development and client relationship building skills are also crucial.
