Senior Associate - Accounts & Finance Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to support audits and management reporting.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping & Accounting: Record journal entries, ensure monthly closure of accounts and reconcile bank statements.
  • Invoicing & Payments: Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on collections and process vendor payments.
  • Reconciliations: Perform ledger reconciliations, conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation and coordinate with vendors for pending filings.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • MIS Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries and provide required documentation.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of provisions of the Income Tax Act and Companies Act applicable to companies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks and Zoho Books.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
