About Our Physiotherapy Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong background in physiotherapy, coupled with proven experience in teaching or working with individuals with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with various needs (e.g. cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, ASD with motor delay).
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and therapy goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other health professionals.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group physiotherapy sessions tailored to each child's developmental level and physical needs.
  • Provide support for physical access and mobility within the school environment, including recommending adaptations and assistive equipment.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes using evidence-based tools and update care plans accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) and HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working with children and/or young people with special needs is highly desirable.
  • Manual Handling and Safeguarding Children.
