Senior Observability Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Observability Engineer with expertise in AWS, Synthetic Monitoring, and Dynatrace to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement scalable synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  2. Lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  3. Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  4. Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  5. Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
  6. Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  7. Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  8. Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
