Job Title: Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer to join our operations group. This key member will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment and processes.

  • Conducting Failure Analysis and Testing (FAT) for Semiconductor equipment & qualification is a primary responsibility.
  • This role involves executing Checklists and procedures, updating tasks as needed.
  • Final Test Checklist execution, task sign-off, and delivery tracking are crucial duties.
  • Data collection, processing, and statistical analysis are essential skills required for this position.
  • Troubleshooting method application to eliminate equipment malfunction, diagnostic procedures, and corrective actions are vital.
  • Recording process documentation and production data for compliance and traceability is also necessary.
  • Process recipe refinement based on test and customer recipes is another key aspect.
  • PID tuning experience (conventional and advanced methods) is highly beneficial.
  • Design of Experiments (DOE's) for product design improvement, problem-solving, or manufacturing process optimization is valuable.
  • Vacuum chamber and load-lock pump down with safety measures is an important skill.
  • Air- or liquid-based instrument interpretation and tweaking are additional requirements.
  • Gas handling (CDA, N2, helium) and process chemistry experience are also expected.
  • Kawasaki robot, load port, aligner, and ionizer bar experience are desirable.
  • ESD requirement evaluation for platforms is a necessary duty.
  • Delicate semiconductor wafer/panel handling during processing is a significant responsibility.
  • Tool leveling experience is also required.
  • Lock-out / Tag-out verification with team members is crucial.
  • Electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manual interpretation are essential skills.
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft suite familiarity are necessary.
  • Curing, Etching, deposition tools installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience are valuable.
  • Cleanroom environment adaptability is also required.
  • Health and safety regulation compliance within the facility is a top priority.
Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for coaching mechanical component understanding, adjustment, and alignment.

  • Daily reports writing and presentation to the team, supervisor, and manager are necessary.
  • Peer input during yearly reviews is also expected.
  • New product launches support to ensure supplier quality meets standards is a significant duty.
  • Root cause analysis facilitation and corrective actions for supplier quality issues are also required.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/Process is required.
  • Substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is expected.
  • Equipment engineering experience in Semiconductor, Solar, or LED industry is desirable.
  • Final Test Area experience is necessary.
  • Schematic reading ability is required.
  • CAD, Solid work, and inventor knowledge is a plus.
  • Software and PLC understanding is also a plus.
  • Electrical and electronics troubleshooting skills and training ability are essential.
  • Vacuum, thermal, and Chemical Vapor Deposition systems understanding and guidance ability are also required.
  • Lean manufacturing skills are desirable.
  • Customer and supplier dealing experience is necessary.
