Manual Quality Assurance Specialist

As a meticulous Manual Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software applications integrated with Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed manual test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories.
  • Perform functional regression integration UI and exploratory testing of software applications.
  • Identify document and report defects in the issue tracking system, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Work closely with the QA automation team to identify test cases for automation and provide manual testing support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Provide feedback on usability and advocate for the end-user experience.
  • Document and provide clear reports on testing activities and project quality status.
  • Follow established QA best practices.
  • Create positive and negative test cases following provided requirements.
  • Set correctly the priority, root cause, and assignee for all reported issues, updating the issue when new relevant information is received.
  • Identify missing information and request clarification.
  • Use internal collaborative tools to gather and learn information about tools, technologies, and testing methods necessary for everyday work.
  • Help less experienced QA team members foster a culture of quality and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You must also be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

You should have a strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies. Additionally, experience with testing tools and technologies would be an asset.
