Job Title: Career Development Specialist
About the RoleThe primary objective of this position is to provide career guidance and placement services to students.
This involves identifying potential employers, coordinating with them to arrange job interviews, and ensuring a smooth student life cycle.
Responsibilities- Identify major employers for urban placement opportunities for Anudip students.
- Coordinate with students to match their skills with company requirements.
- Visit company directors and HR heads to establish manpower requirements and placement ties.
- Cooperate with branches on placement procedures and student placement records.
- Generate revenue for the organization by placing students in suitable jobs.
- Maintain documents related to pre-placement and post-placement activities.
- Maintain a database of students.
- Brief students about job openings and conduct market studies.
- Regularly coordinate with managers and trainers.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in student placement from skilling/training/educational institutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with patience and perseverance.
- A good understanding of corporate relations and an inclination towards working with marginalized communities.
- Prior experience with student placements and corporate tie-ups for student placements.
