Job Title: SOC Manager

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire security operations center team. This includes ensuring effective monitoring and response to security incidents.

This strategic leader will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's overall security posture. They will also provide mentorship to junior analysts, helping them grow within their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Security Operations Center team.
  • Develop and implement SOC processes and procedures.
  • Oversee incident analysis and coordinate response efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment on security initiatives and strategies.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to SOC analysts and junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Proficiency in security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.).
  • Experience with incident response and threat hunting techniques.
  • Knowledge of network security, application security, and endpoint security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are preferred.
