About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers.

Job Description

This is a leadership position that requires exceptional technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality engineering outcomes on time while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, demonstrated technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing people and building effective teams.

You will act as a representative for the team with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and customers, and champion great engineering culture.

This role also involves planning, tracking, and reporting progress against key deliverables and goals, and ensuring alignment with stringent product security requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic record from high school through university.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field—or an equivalent professional story.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and a track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A passion for developing people and building effective teams.
  • Ability to drive delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes on time.
  • Polished and professional interpersonal skills, with experience engaging stakeholders, customers, and community contributors.
  • Experience with security certification frameworks, particularly FIPS 140, Common Criteria, FedRAMP, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of DISA STIG and CIS benchmarks, including audit and remediation practices (e.g., Compliance as Code).
  • A solid grasp of software and application security fundamentals.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
