Job Title:

Battery Management System Expert

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge BMS systems for energy storage domains.
  • Ensure state-of-the-art designing, layout, compliance, and EMI-EMC aspects.
  • Deliver high-quality modules/systems on-time by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide solutions for complex use cases in a customer-facing role.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering (EEE)
  • 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS

  • Developing BMS for energy storage/ESS
  • Architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS

  • Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries (UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730)
  • PCB layout constraints
  • Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries
  • Simulation tools (P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad)
  • FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
  • Sensing Technologies (Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor)
  • Hardware peripherals and communication ckt design
  • Power Supply Design
  • MOSFET driving

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Safety Regulatory standards (IEC61508, ISO26262)
  • Contractors and Relays
  • Safety-critical features (charge control, thermal control, fault detection, diagnostics)
