We are seeking an experienced Application Packager to fill this critical position in our organization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software packaging, application development, and deployment within physical and virtual environments. They will be responsible for designing and implementing modern packaging solutions using tools such as Numecent, MSIX, PSApp Deploy, Ansible, and containerization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system integrations across desktop, on-prem cloud server, and AVD technology platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans prior to software deployment.
  • Maintain documentation of all customizations and changes made during the packaging process.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software packaging, application development, and deployment within a physical and virtual environment.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, .MSI, .MST, .MSP, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar scripting and database tools.
  • Experience with automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products.
  • Deep understanding of implementing and supporting application virtualization, streaming, layering, and paging technologies on AVD environments, desktop, servers on-prem and in the cloud, and mobile devices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Developed scripts in PowerShell, Ansible, DSC, Python, or YAML.
  • Familiar with tools or automate scripts/processes.
  • Experience with idempotent to configuration manager, policy, and deployment.

Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to knowledge of UWP - MSIX packaging development and deployment, skillful in SAFe Agile framework, experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline, Azure Certificates, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
