Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cell Culture Specialist to support upstream process development, process scale up, and process characterization for mAb manufacturing.

This role will involve developing and establishing scalable and robust processes to meet desired product yield and quality. You will assess risk and actively plan for risk mitigation strategies during process development and scale up.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams within R&D and other departments for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement.

This position also requires participating in technology transfer activities, coordination with program management, and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines.

You will provide support for regulatory dossier, filing, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Development: Develop and establish scalable and robust processes to meet desired product yield and quality.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess risk and actively plan for risk mitigation strategies during process development and scale up.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within R&D and other departments for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement.
  • Technology Transfer and Program Management: Participate in technology transfer activities, coordination with program management, and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines.
  • Regulatory Support: Provide support for regulatory dossier, filing, and audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in ONE of the following areas: Omics technologies – Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis; Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactor or cells; CFD – Computational fluid dynamics to better understand and simulate bioreactor mixing.
  • Education: Only Recent PhD Graduates will be considered for the role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cell culture principles and techniques; Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Knowledge of statistical methods and experimental design.
