Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Medical Writer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials that meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, with a PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, including infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content.
  • Reviewing and supervising deliverables from junior writers and providing constructive feedback.
  • Mentoring and training junior writers by sharing best practices and client preferences.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Advising clients on strategic plans and content improvements.
  • Participating in client pitches and business development.

You Will Thrive If You Have:

  • A PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing Scientific/Medical Communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Clear, concise scientific writing with strong attention to detail and language skills.
  • A strong ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely.
  • A good understanding of biostatistics, MS Office, and literature review, with a keen eye for synthesizing complex information.
  • Skill in developing digital content to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications.
  • Experience in organizing and contributing to congresses and advisory board meetings.
