The Head of Corporate Finance and Banking oversees the company's liquidity needs, defining the optimal cash and bank facility balance. This role manages the business's debt portfolio with various financial institutions, maintaining strong relationships.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
  • Develop fund-raising strategies for short-term, mid-term, and long-term business plans across verticals.
  • Lead structured finance transactions, including securitization and direct assignment, from lead generation to execution and post-transaction compliance.
  • Prepare financial models based on historical and projected data for fund-raising and continuity of debts/funds credit facilities.
  • Raise funds from various financial institutions at minimum cost, leveraging primary and collateral security.
  • Collaborate with CEOs and Chairmen for financial planning, goal-setting, and project funding requirements.
  • Develop multi-banking facilities to mitigate cash flow risks and minimize borrowing costs.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing lenders and onboard new funding products/lenders.
  • Ensure timely banking compliances and build relationships with new lenders.
  • Create and manage documentation for debt capital, leading due diligence exercises and coordinating with internal teams.

This role requires a deep understanding of banking, treasury products, regulatory reporting, and liquidity management, as well as knowledge of drivers of liquidity and changing regulatory scenarios. A background in managing transitions and building strong business relationships is essential.

Key skills include:

  • Finance/Accounting: In-depth knowledge of financial statements, cash flow, financial ratios, and cash handling procedures.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for data compilation, financial reporting, and banking compliance.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to utilize business information to manage everyday operations and generate innovative solutions.

Preferred education includes an MBA from IIM or similar institutions, with experience in real estate and funding sectors.
