Director of Government Partnerships

Role Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned and strategic leader to oversee government partnerships in India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, including Commissioners, Principal Secretaries, and other decision-makers.
  • Analyze existing and upcoming government education policies to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with our products and initiatives.
  • Liaise with senior government officials to communicate product value propositions and negotiate partnership opportunities.
  • Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure engagement and impact, and drive capacity building through stakeholder training programs, cadence calls, and regular field visits.
  • Deliver executive-level reports to internal stakeholders and provide progress updates to senior government officials.
  • Curate insights from stakeholder engagements to inform product roadmap and future iterations.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in government relations, education policy, or public sector partnerships; prior experience in EdTech or SaaS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of India's education policy landscape and government functioning.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and program execution in public sector environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate policy into actionable partnership opportunities.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
