Manufacturing Process Engineer

Leading and supporting manufacturing processes is the core responsibility of this role. The individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and safe production practices.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to resolve manufacturing issues and challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance production processes and achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to ensure production equipment is well-maintained and operating at peak performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing production processes, preferably in the automotive or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and fabrication.
  • Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational efficiency.
