About the Role:

\

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Manager to manage day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of production on the shop floor, ensuring daily targets are met.\
  • Supervise and optimize job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.\
  • Design and implement layout plans for new projects including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation.\
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs.\
  • Ensure in-process inventory management and a smooth production flow.\
  • Coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures.\
  • Monitor production costs and optimize resource usage.\
  • Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and policies.\
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through lean practices and automation initiatives.\
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications as required for solar product manufacturing.\

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.\
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related field.\
  • Strong understanding of solar mounting structures and fabrication techniques.\
  • Experience in handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes.\
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.\
  • Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.\
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.\

  • Exposure to renewable energy or solar projects.\
  • Knowledge of CAD drawings, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.\
  • Prior experience in setting up new production lines or greenfield manufacturing units.\
