We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the data analytics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans to validate data quality.
  • Perform data-level validations including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
  • Work extensively with GCP services (especially BigQuery) for data validation.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets.
  • Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow), BigQuery and SQL.
  • Monitor GCP cloud logs and build dashboards.
  • Identify, log, and track defects and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with data validation tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
