Cloud Data Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Expert to play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines using the Google Cloud stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction & Analysis: Query and manipulate data using Google BigQuery and Google SQL, develop scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to extract, transform, and update datasets, experience with MapReduce frameworks is an advantage.
  • Data Visualization: Build reports and dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio, create effective visualizations to present findings and communicate insights clearly.
  • Problem Solving & Pipeline Development: Identify data engineering requirements and design scalable data pipelines, use data to propose solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance, apply techniques such as Indexing, Partitioning, Parallel Processing, Caching, Efficient Storage Formats (Parquet/ORC), and In-memory Computing.
  • Scheduling & Automation: Schedule and manage workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers.
  • Release Engineering: Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines.
