Market Intelligence Specialist

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality market insights on global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, with a focus on India. You will work closely with industry-leading journalists and analysts to identify trends and patterns in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report weekly price assessments for ferroalloys and bulk ores, focusing on the Indian market.
  • Conduct research to support the development of new market assessments and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and emerging trends, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive market knowledge, including pricing data, market analysis, and industry news.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing clients.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field, such as steel or steel raw materials industries/markets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate market intelligence to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of market trends and patterns.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data from multiple sources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
