Senior Product Development Lead

This is a role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products/platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to lead technical discussions with Engineering teams and thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.

You will also be responsible for assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.

Mentorship and leadership are also key components of this role, as you will mentor/drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute into the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products/platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance, and transitions products from development to commercialization.
• Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams & thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.
• Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
• Mentor/Drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization.
• Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
• Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
• May lead major releases and ensures feature enhancements respond to customer requests. Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience into Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
• Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field.
• Strong Background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
• Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems.
• Coefficient & mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
• An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
• Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
• Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise.
• Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.
• Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup.
• Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, not mandatory.
