Job Title: Electrical Systems Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review and Scope Definition:

    • Review contract documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
    • Determine the scope of work for electrical systems, defining battery limits as required.

  • Project Meetings and Coordination:

    • Attend internal kick-off meetings with Sales/Proposal teams.
    • PARTicipate in external kick-off meetings with clients and consultants.
    • Coordinate internally with other functions for seamless project execution.
Design Documentation and Engineering:
  • Create E&I datasheets, bills of materials, IO lists, and electrical load lists according to tender requirements.
  • Select power, instrument, and control cables based on project specifications.
  • Develop cable schedules, tray layouts, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams for panels.
  • Maintain a comprehensive E&I library for future reference.
Vendor and Procurement Coordination:
  • Coordinate with vendors to review drawings for electrical and instrumentation items.
  • Prepare inquiries and assist in procurement of E&I items.
  • Finalize orders for PLC panels, SCADA systems, MCC panels, instruments, cables, trays, and other electrical components.
Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or related field is required.
