Electrical Project Lead

We are seeking an Electrical Project Lead to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for new manufacturing facilities, upgrades, or existing plants in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and oversee the development of electrical systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, monitoring progress, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise the construction and installation of electrical systems.
  • Ensure all systems and designs meet stringent pharmaceutical industry standards (e.g., GMP, safety regulations).
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including project engineers, construction teams, vendors, and other engineering disciplines (HVAC, mechanical, process).
  • Address and resolve issues with electrical systems to prevent downtime.
  • Oversee the commissioning and validation of electrical systems to ensure they function as intended and are compliant.

Essential Skills and Expertise:

  • Electrical Design: Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Automation and Controls: Expertise in BMS, DDC, and other building automation control systems.
  • Industry Standards: Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements, GMP, and cleanroom specifications.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with software like Autodesk Revit for electrical design and project management.
  • Coordination and Communication: Strong skills in communicating with diverse teams and managing external contractors.
