ITOM/ITAM Specialist RoleJob Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to fill the role of ITOM/ITAM Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
  • Establish relationships between CIs to accurately reflect dependencies within the IT infrastructure.
  • Perform data cleansing and deduplication activities.
  • Manage the CMDB module, improving data representation accuracy.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators for CMDB health.
  • Configure and manage data discovery tools to automatically populate the CMDB with information from various IT systems.
  • Integrate CMDB data with other ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Map data from external systems to the CMDB schema.
  • Define data quality standards and metrics for the CMDB.
  • Establish data ownership and accountability across different teams.
  • Implement data validation processes to ensure data integrity.
