Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled professional to drive the strategy and execution of SME businesses in our region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
  • To support workforce planning by providing inputs on departmental forecasts.

Main Objectives:

  • Drive SME business strategy and execution in the region as per targets.
  • Prepare yearly Business Development Plan aligned with bank strategy for SME clients in the region.
  • Achieve target set in yearly plan for new and existing clients, managing budget and financials related to these targets.
  • Articulate region-specific strategy for product growth and liaison with Product Development Team.
  • Manage people and teams, including career development, coaching, and mentoring of critical talent.
  • Formulate recruitment and resourcing strategies (e.g., location strategies).
  • Review and coordinate quality principles and processes.
  • Sponsor quality standards in management initiatives in the region.
  • Ensure stringent fraud control policies and minimal NPAs in the region.

Talent Management:

  • To develop continuous talent pipeline for key roles and provide mentoring for high potential talent.
  • To monitor achievement of goals and KPIs for direct reports, ensuring effective implementation of performance management process.

Risk and Internal Control:

  • To implement risk-related policies and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • To review internal control systems and take corrective action based on audit findings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

A degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. Experience in relationship management and SME business strategy would be an advantage.
