Job Title: System Enhancement Specialist

This role requires a skilled professional to provide second-level support for security systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing system enhancements.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for access control systems remotely.
  • Analyze, debug and resolve system incidents and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams and stakeholders to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Assist in the design, development and deployment of software enhancements to improve system functionality.
  • Implement software upgrades and patches in accordance with processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and initiate preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with security teams to optimize access control policies and workflows within systems.
  • Support integration with third-party security systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions when required.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with access control system support, maintenance and enhancements.
  • Good understanding of access control concepts and industry standards.
  • Experience with system integration, IP network protocols and common hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management related to platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation and customization.
  • Familiarity with server and client software installation and configuration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and coordinate with global teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with access control system support, maintenance and enhancements.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions and SaaS platforms.
