Job Title: Network Infrastructure Security Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in telecom network audit and internal audit to conduct security assessments of network infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of telecom network technologies, including transmission technologies (Microwave, FTTH, DWDM), and core networks (Circuit-Switched and Packet-Switched).
  • They will also possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract, process, and transform data effectively, as well as proficient in MS Office and experience with SQL.
  • Able to identify and evaluate risks associated with telecom network operations, and propose effective mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk-based audits of network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management highlighting key audit outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of evolving technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting core network operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field (Network Planning, Design or Operation), preferable in internal audit, Consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent certifications would be advantageous.

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel to other locations is essential, with at least 90% travel required.
