Associate Director Engineering

About the Role:

This leadership position oversees strategic projects, new product introductions (NPI), lifecycle management (LCM), and engineering operations to ensure operational excellence and future growth.

As an Associate Director of Engineering, you will drive innovation, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure seamless integration of engineering and project functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Execution: Lead large-scale projects, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • NPI Management: Ensure successful product launches by overseeing all aspects of new product introduction.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from development to retirement.
  • Engineering Operations: Support the smooth operation of engineering departments, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing, project management, engineering, or related sectors in regulated industries.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale projects, managing complex product lifecycles, and driving innovation.
  • Experience in medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, or pharmaceuticals is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and compliance requirements.
