Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our retail team.

  • Responsibilities include handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports, performing month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations, managing inventory accounting and cost analysis, and generating reports as needed by management.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, 2–3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Tally, good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Accounting Responsibilities:

Main duties will involve financial record-keeping, payroll processing, budget preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, sales tax collection, account reconciliation, and internal controls implementation.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Accounting Qualifications:

A degree in finance, accounting or related field is necessary for this position. Two to three years of accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency in Tally, knowledge of financial regulations, and effective communication skills are also required.

Candidates with CPA, CMA certification or relevant training will be given preference.
