Backend Developer for High-Performance APIs

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain high-performance APIs using Spring Boot and MongoDB. This is a great opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in API development, cloud deployment and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • MongoDB Management: Design and manage MongoDB databases ensuring high data integrity and query efficiency.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure with consideration for security and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features that meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug backend services for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Security: Ensure robust security measures in API development and data management.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation to ensure high-quality code.

Requirements:

  • MongoDB Expertise: Strong experience with MongoDB database design and management principles.
  • Spring Boot Proficiency: Proficient in developing APIs using Spring Boot framework.
  • OSS 2 Experience: Hands-on experience with OSS 2 platform for API management.
  • Apigee Knowledge: Experience working with Apigee API management platform for integration and security.
  • Cloud Familiarity: Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment best practices.
  • RESTful API Knowledge: Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles for scalability and performance.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security standards and best practices in API development and data management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
  • Agile Environment: Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment with continuous integration and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Containerization Tools: Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment.
  • CICD Pipeline: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for streamlined development.
