Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Backend Software Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using modern Java and Spring Boot technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-quality backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing efficient schema designs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate AWS SQS into asynchronous workflows, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Take ownership of features from initial design to deployment, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS SQS or other messaging queues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
