Billing Operations Manager

Job Overview: This senior leadership role requires a highly experienced professional to oversee the establishment and management of a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the US healthcare revenue cycle, encompassing Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Prior Authorization, Denial Management, and US Healthcare Insurance Verification.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Development & Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team of billers and coders.
    • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and performance metrics from scratch.
  • RCM Operations Management:
    • Medical Billing & Coding
    • Prior Authorizations
    • Payer Credentialing
    • US Healthcare Insurance Verification
    • Charge Entry & Payment Posting
    • Denials Management
    • Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-ups
    • Ensure HIPAA compliance and optimize process efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance:
    • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as AR days, First Pass Resolution Rate, and Denial %.
    • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Negotiate directly with stakeholders for process updates and escalations.
    • Provide regular reports and actionable management insights.
