Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Accounting Professional to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, QuickBooks, and international accounting practices, as well as prior experience in working with US clients in a BPO/KPO/outsourcing setup.About the Role:This role involves overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients, recording journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensuring timely posting of transactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable records, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP, performing reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances, and supporting preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.Taxation & Compliance:You will assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing, ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements, and liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when required.Client Communication & Support:You will work closely with US-based clients to understand their accounting needs, provide timely updates, reports, and financial insights to clients, and handle queries and resolve issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.Process Improvement & Technology:You will use QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or other accounting platforms for client management, contribute to process improvements and standardization of accounting practices, and support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Requirements:We require a candidate with a degree in accounting or finance, 2-4 years of experience in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry, strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing, proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software, advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with US clients.Work Schedule: Flexible schedule aligned with US business hours
