Senior US Accounting Specialist

This role entails handling end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, QuickBooks, and international accounting practices, along with prior experience in working with US clients in a BPO/KPO/outsourcing setup.
About the Position- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations for multiple US clients.
- Record journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
- Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
- Bachelor of Commerce / Master of Commerce / Chartered Accountant Intermediate / Certified Public Accountant (US) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants or equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years of experience in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
