Job Title

A skilled network engineer is required to design, configure and manage enterprise networks and network equipment. This involves analyzing architectural requirements and developing solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

  • Manage complex networks involving Cisco routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Configure, monitor and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment including firewalls and load balancers.
  • Work with carriers to configure/troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentor junior engineers in network administration tasks.
  • Ensure network compliance standards are met, including PCI and HIPAA.
  • Provide on-call support for production systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE.
  • Experience using Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and/or SDN preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking in a VMware environment, preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of IaC and/or NaC, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python and Ansible.

Certifications

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
