Job Title: Product Line Manager

Department: Merchandising and Supply Chain Management

Location: Anantapur, India

Reporting To: Senior Merchandising Manager

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Role Overview:

The Product Line Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire merchandising process for woven garments. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Design teams to develop seasonal collections based on customer requirements and market trends.
  • Develop samples, negotiate prices, and confirm orders with buyers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Optimize material ordering processes to improve budget and costs while ensuring seamless production flow.
  • Excellent analytical skills, independent work style, and ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges.
  • Experience in handling small and high-value businesses, including managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Tech savvy knowledge of woven garment manufacturing, including Shirts, Jackets, Bottoms, etc.
  • Proven leadership and management experience to drive results-driven achievements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Technology, or equivalent field.
  • 1-8 years of experience as a Product Line Manager in a woven garment factory (buyer handling experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems to analyze data and optimize processes.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines to drive business growth.
