Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of new assembly processes and equipment, as well as improving existing ones.

  • Lead process engineering in engine assembly lines for new model introductions and capacity increase projects.
  • Provide up-to-date material flows for ongoing process location changes and determine the best flow for process/product diversity management.
  • Implement Poka Yoke automation solutions to detect/prevent defects and improve manufacturing quality.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Establish power train assembly processes and equipment.
  • Conduct technical and commercial feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Prepare RFI documents and discuss with suppliers.
  • Plan and budget for new projects.
  • Improve processes through documentation and cycle time reduction.
  • Install and commission new equipment.
  • Optimize layouts and implement ergonomic improvements.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Production, Automobile, Mechanical) degree.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in assembly engineering.
Technical Skills

You should have expertise in the following areas:

  • Siemens, Mitsubishi, and FANUC programming.
  • Robot teaching, sealant Cartesian system, and electrical drawing.
  • Andon system, HMI programming, VFD, and DC nut runners programming.
  • Low-cost automation solutions, sensor addition teaching, and programming.
Behavioral Skills

In addition to your technical skills, you should also possess the following behavioral skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers.
